Matcha cupcakes with lemoncurd filling





Cupcakes:
4 eggs
200 gms sugar
250 gms mascarpone
250 gms flour
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon of salt
2 teaspoons of matcha
1/4 cup of milk
Beat the eggs with sugar for 7-8 minutes…
Add the mascarpone,vanilla,salt and matcha…
add the flour sifted with the baking powder into this mix
 and beat at very low speed until incorporated
at this point you may add the milk gradually
 to bring the mix into a creamy consistency…
pour the batter into greased cupcake moulds
and bake at 170 C preheated oven for 25 minutes…

Remove from the moulds when cold
and decorate with lemoncurd filling and powdered sugar!

 
 


 
Matcha cupcake / limon kremalı



 
 
Cupcake’ler :
4 yumurtayı 200 gm şeker ile 7-8 dakika çırpın…
250 gm mascarpone peynir,1 çaykaşık vanilya ekstresi,
1/4 çaykaşık tuz,ve 2 çaykaşık matcha ekleyip,karıştırmaya devam edin…
250 gm unu,2 çaykaşık kabartma tozu ile beraber eleyerek
 bu karışıma ekleyin ve çırpıcınızın en yavaş modunda tamamı ile karıştırın…
1/4 cup sütü azar azar,kremamsı bir doku elde edene dek katabilirsiniz…
Karışımı yağlanmış cupcake kalıplarınıza döküp,
170 C ısıtılmış fırında 25 dakika kadar pişirin…
Soğuduklarında kalıplardan çıkartarak
 limonlu krema ve pudra şekeri ile kombinleyebilirsiniz…

  4. Can you recommend a good matcha for baking? I bought some once but it wasn't powdered and hard to work with.

    1. hii... generally I buy matcha whenever I travel to London,and I get it from the Japanese supermarkets in Soho , Brewer Street! However that also does not guarantee that you get the qualified brand.As you can not see the powder inside the can/sealed bag,you will never know if it's smoothly powdery,and deep green as possible! Only thing I can recommend is that you check for the due date on the pack !?! sorry for the limited advice:(

    1. thks.It has its own distinctive flavor and does not appeal to everybody... however you will not feel that in sweets so much,only watch out for the amount for the bitter taste :)
